Gaming

I started playing games back in the 80’s with Atari and Nintendo. Some of my favorites were Joust, Legend of Zelda, Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, & 3, and Excitebike. When Super Nintendo arrived to the scene, games like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country & Diddy’s Kong Quest, Mario Kart, Killer Instinct, and F-Zero kept me and my friends busy for hours. Around that time, we also discovered arcade games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken. Sega was where it was really at though. Sonic, NBA Jam, Altered Beast… I’ve sunk countless hours into those games as well. Xbox and Playstation were just blips, I played mainly racing games back then. My life changed when I was introduced to PC gaming, specifically with Counter Strike: Source and Left 4 Dead. I no longer had to play with local friends, but now I could interact with the entire world! Competitive games completely took over… I spent thousands of hours in those games, played CS:S competitively once (and failed miserably), and met some of the most wonderful friends ever. I started in content creation in 2016, with it really just being a pastime that was to keep my creative juices flowing after a back surgery stopped me from playing music. I didn’t start to take it seriously until my best friend introduced me to Twitch Sings and did karaoke streams with friends. I became affiliate in September of 2020. I’m not looking to make this a full time job, I just enjoy meeting people and playing games with friends, old and new.

IRL

I’m a dad first. I have 3 amazingly talented kiddos who are my world. My oldest is into acting, they have been in dozens of shows and have built an impressive resume that includes a collection of lead, supporting, and choral roles. My middle daughter is a movie buff. Being a complete cinephile, our talks often revolve around how movies and shows are made. Her eye for cinematography is so keen already, I envision her as a writer/director later in life. My youngest is a gaming prodigy. She was basically born with a full RGB M&K in her tiny hands. There isn’t a game that I’ve played with her that she hasn’t beat me at already (Ok, maaaybe I went easy on her a couple times in MarioKart, sue me). She is the epitome of a zoomer and is very involved in my streams as well. When I’m not spending time with them, (or working or streaming) I try and spend my time playing and writing music. I play all the instruments in a standard band, drums, guitar, bass, and I kinda know my way around a keyboard. I also have a background in marketing, adult learning and I’ve dabbled in graphic design, aviation maintenance, and audio engineering over my 38 years on Earth. Lastly, I’m a huge taco slut. Some folks have a beer belly, well I have a taco belly. Tacos are the perfect food.. use any kind of meat you want, throw complimentary veggies and a sauce, maybe some sort of bean and cheese combination.. and you have perfection on a plate.
